When a product is stuck, the fastest path forward starts with identifying what is actually holding it back.
I help physical-product leaders diagnose difficult development problems, clarify the decisions that matter and build a practical path from uncertainty to execution.
Tell me what is happeningProblems rarely stay inside one function
A product-development problem may first appear as an engineering delay, supplier problem, cost miss or schedule slip. But the constraint may sit somewhere else entirely.
My role is to look across requirements, product architecture, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, economics and launch rather than assuming the first visible symptom is the problem to solve.
Typical situations
- A program has slipped repeatedly without a convincing recovery plan.
- A product is technically feasible but its cost, manufacturability or commercial case is unclear.
- Leadership needs an independent view before committing tooling, inventory or additional headcount.
- Functions disagree about what is actually required or who owns the decision.
- A product has reached a stage the existing team has not taken one through before.
From diagnosis to execution
Some engagements need a focused diagnostic. Others need continued leadership through the corrective work. I scope the engagement around the actual constraint rather than defaulting to an open-ended consulting project.
Start with the problem.
If your company has a physical-product problem that keeps crossing organizational boundaries, a few sentences are enough. I will tell you whether I think I can help.
